ABOUT THE AUTHOR
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Carolyn Livingston

Carolyn Livingston, MSFSCC, is a devoted servant-leader, pastor's wife, and emerging scholar whose life reflects faith, resilience, and a deep commitment to uplifting others.
Called to serve before being called to lead, Carolyn Livingston has spent more than three decades walking faithfully in ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Sherman Livingston. Grounded in humility, prayer, and obedience to God, her journey reflects a life of quiet strength and steadfast service.
For over 25 years, Carolyn served as an armor bearer to a Pastor’s Wife, offering intercession, discernment, and support behind the scenes. Her leadership extends across women’s ministry, evangelism, hospitality, and bereavement care, and she currently serves on the National Screening Committee of the Church of God in Christ Inc., contributing wisdom and stewardship at the national level.
Beyond ministry, Carolyn brings decades of professional leadership experience. After a 35-year career with the U.S. Department of Justice, retiring as an Information Technology Manager and Information Security Officer, she returned in 2024 as a contract IT Technical Project Manager. She is also pursuing a PhD in General Psychology at Grand Canyon University, with a focus on integrating technology, education, and learning.
A wife, mother of four, and grandmother of two, Carolyn leads with grace across church, career, and community. Her debut book, First Lady Arrived, draws from her lived experience to support women in leadership as they navigate identity, calling, and faithful service, seen and unseen.
WORDS OF AFFIRMATION
"A Trusted and Faithful Leader"
I have had the honor of knowing Lady Carolyn Livingston for many years. When her work brought her to my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, she became part of my church family, and I quickly saw both her inner and outer beauty. We formed a bond that grew into a mother-and-daughter relationship, joined by the Lord.
I later asked her to serve as my assistant in my role as District Missionary, and she was a tremendous blessing to our district and local church. Carolyn is a gifted worker and speaker, full of ideas, excellence, and a true servant’s heart. I am grateful God connected our paths and I pray His continued blessings over her and her family.
